Happy New Year from our family to yours!  Our family has had an eventful fall and early winter season.  Two of our six children have gotten married (September 2024 and January 2025). We provided Wedding Florals for our oldest daughter and son’s Weddings, as well as two other fall Weddings.

Hard to believe that we are half way through 2024!  Spring activities on the farm included harvesting, watering, weeding, planting Dahlias, sowing Summer annuals, a photo shoot and a Workshop on the Farm.

The growing season is in full swing for 2024. Spring brings with it warmer weather and much activity on a flower farm. So far this season, we have enjoyed beautiful harvests of Anemones, Daffodils, Tulips and Butterfly Ranunculus.

As we look back over 2023, we are grateful for everyone who supported our flower farm. From the many individuals who ordered our custom bouquet arrangements to the brides who selected us to provide their wedding florals, we thank you.

The Summer season is moving along quickly as we enter the month of August. The Sunflowers are soaking in the abundant sunshine and the Dahlia blooms are beginning to burst forth.

Summertime is here and the heat is on. Warm days have become hot days. The flowers are growing well despite a lack of rain over the past few weeks.

The last two months have been some of the busiest for our farm. In addition to the normal springtime activities, we were blessed with an abundance of orders for Mother’s Day as well as providing florals for two weddings.

As the weather begins to warm (and hopefully dry out a little), we are beginning to ramp up activities here on the farm. In addition to caring for the Anemones, Ranunculus and hardy annuals already in the ground, we are busy with seed starting a variety of perennials and other annuals for the upcoming season.

This time of year is important for a Flower Farm to get organized and prepared for the upcoming season of blooms. The weather has been wet and cold the first part of 2021, but this has not stopped us from the many farm chores that need to be done during winter months.

Greetings and Happy 2021 to all! As most of you experienced, 2020 was an unexpected and challenging year. As a small family flower farm, we would like to express our gratitude to all those who supported small local businesses such as ours. From the many individuals who ordered a custom arrangement to the brides who selected us to provide their wedding florals, we thank you.
